Use transcriptomic data to help identify genes involved in cell wall biosynthesis, which likely have an impact on cell wall composition and saccharification potential in maize, miscanthus and sugarcane. These genes will be critical to research in WPs 1, 3 and 4 and will eventually provide markers for breeding programmes.
