Bryan and Lydia Gray Scholarship
Thanks to a very generous donation to the University, the Bryan and Lydia Gray History Scholarship has been established to provide support to talented students who have the academic potential to study at York and who have overcome significant barriers to their educational goals.
The awards are open to applications from students starting an undergraduate degree in History in September 2024.
Each award is worth a total of £9,000, paid in instalments for three years.
(If you are registered for a four-year degree, the scholarship is not paid in third year, which is usually the year abroad/placement component, and instead, the third instalment of £3,000 will be paid in the final year of study).
