In this module, you will produce a literature review outlining current research in response to a question or topic that relates to areas of enquiry that interest you the most.

This module supports your development as a researcher by the construction of a literature review.

Module learning outcomes

By the end of the module you should:

  • have a wide knowledge of written and sounding materials and other research tools as appropriate to their areas of interest;

  • be using those tools with assurance;

  • have gained a wide experience of previous and current work relevant to their new or expanded research areas;

  • Be able to summarise and evaluate an extensive body of research
