The dissertation is the largest piece of autonomous work undertaken by each student, demonstrating mastery of a wide range of intellectual, theoretical, methodological and technical skills, resulting in an original contribution to scholarship and practice in the field of stained glass conservation.

The dissertation is expected to demonstrate:
