Module aims
The 15000-20000 word dissertation is expected to demonstrate:
- The students command of a suitable conservation subject, or art-historical topic with a strong conservation emphasis
- The students ability to conduct significant, sustained and original research
- The students ability to organise and engage critically with both primary and secondary sources
- Intellectual independence
- An ability to present work with scholarly professionalism
