Padlet
Padlet provides virtual spaces for content sharing, communication and collaboration. Create virtual boards in a variety of formats and share them with staff and students.
Key features
- Use the dashboard to quickly access your existing boards and create new boards.
- Supports text, images, video and more.
- Boards can be private, password protected or publicly accessible.
- Share boards with others and collaborate in real time – comment, vote and like posts with live updates and notifications.
- Change the format of your board, including a canvas, timeline, map and grid layout.
- A Padlet mobile app is available from Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Access instructions
- Select Continue with Google. Enter your University email address, password and Google two-factor authentication, if prompted.
- By default, both staff and students can make, share and edit boards.
- If additional access is needed, such as the ability to import Google Jamboards, contact the Digital Education Team.

You can use this service on University-managed and personal devices.
App and web-based
This service works in your web browser. The mobile apps are compatible with Android and iOS.

There isn’t a cost to you for standard use.

- This is a live service, available 24/7.

Support
- This service is managed by the Digital Education Team).
- They are responsible for monitoring, identifying and fixing faults. Support is available during their opening hours.
Standards
The Digital Education Team’s service performance and standards have been produced in consultation with customers, and monitor the quality, timeliness and access to facilities and services.
The standard service level agreement for this service is three working days.
