Google Calendar
Easily manage your appointments, view other people's calendars and invite people to meetings and events with Google Calendar.
This service is part of Google Workspace. It works best in conjunction with Gmail, Drive and Groups. Using these apps together allows you to create events, receive email invitations, invite groups to events and attach Drive files to events.
Key features
- Create events at set times and locations.
- Invite guests to your event and use Find a Time to see your guests' calendars at a glance.
- Add video meetings to an event using Google Meet or Zoom.
- Create an appointment schedule and appointment slots for other people to book during a time window specified by you.
- Accept invitations directly from Gmail.
- View colleagues' calendars and academic timetables.
- Create calendars and to-do lists for your own use.
- Request shared resource calendars:
- A calendar resource is anything you schedule that isn't an event. Examples include meeting rooms (that aren't in Planon), projectors, recreation equipment, or any other resource that the people in your organization might schedule a time to use. Resource calendar requests need to be submitted to IT Services by your Departmental Computing Officer.
- A mobile app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
