York e-Purchase
York e-Purchase (YEP) is used to create purchase orders for many day-to-day purchasing requirements. This includes most goods and services with the exception of utilities, travel and expenses (see alternative purchasing systems below).
It’s used by staff in all departments. It’s a purchasing module based in the University’s finance system, Agresso.
Key features
- Browse items from various suppliers in the catalogue.
- Order from major suppliers including Stone and Academia.
- Raise free-format requisitions or generate orders through the catalogue ("punch-out" service - advanced).
- Receive invoices and goods receipt orders.
- Approve requisitions.
Access instructions
- To raise or approve requisitions on YEP, you must register for Agresso Finance System access through the Authorised Systems Registration tool.
- If you’re not on campus, you need to a virtual private network (VPN) connection.
- Log in with your York username and password.
- Duo two-factor authentication is required.
Available to students (science graduates) and staff (restrictions apply)
Authorised users can use this service on devices connected to the University network or VPN.

Funded by the University
This system is hosted on site with unrestricted users. This is likely to change to a set number of licences in the near future.
