Licence options
Dragon Professional Individual Education licence
This licence benefits from education discounts. You'll need to prove that you are a qualified staff member or student by submitting a valid University of York email address to Nuance, to obtain a serial number and begin using the software.
Education licences are available for Windows PCs.
Individual Education licences are per device, which means that the software is installed on a single device, and can be used by more than one user so that multiple voice profiles can be added to a single device.
Dragon Professional Individual licence
This licence is a corporate per-person licence, which means that they are licensed per voice profile, so are specific to the end user, who can install Dragon on up to 4 devices for their own use, including at work and home.
There are many options available to purchase for headsets. The Nuance partner for Dragon software, VoicePower, can recommend the following:
- Wired headset: Plantronics Blackwire C510.
- Wireless headset: Plantronics Savi 400 Series - this comes with a USB dongle, which if lost, means that the headset will not work. Replacement dongles can be purchased.
