Web CMS (TerminalFour)

The TerminalFour Web content management system (CMS) is the primary system for publishing web pages on york.ac.uk. The CMS is mainly used for public-facing web content related to core University activities such as information for prospective students, research, partnerships and corporate information.

Key features

  • Pages are generally public but can be restricted to internal users if needed.
  • Trained staff can create, edit and approve content.
  • Use predefined content blocks to create on-brand content.
  • Pages are indexed in the University search engine and will appear in searches of york.ac.uk.
  • Comprehensive user support from the central Communications team.
