Web page access control tool

The web page access control tool allows you to restrict access to web pages and folders on the York website, both within the Web Content Management System (CMS) and other publishing tools.

Key features

  • Allows you to control who can access pages on the University website.
  • The software produces a file which you can download and add to the Web CMS or a web directory.
  • The pre-defined groups in the web page access control tool are dynamic. This means that as people join or leave these groups, their access to content will change as a result.
