We provide services and support for a large community, including academic and professional staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers and visitors.
Meet the teams
IT Services is organised into three sections, each responsible for a different aspect of delivery. Each section is led by a member of our leadership team and overseen by the Director of IT Services.
Director of IT Services
- Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the University’s information and communications strategy and systems.
- Collaborate with the University to lead transformational change, providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives.
- Oversee all technology operations, eg infrastructure, security, and digital services, and evaluate them according to established goals.
- Direct the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business development.

We provide project management, business analysis and UX expertise to IT and strategic change projects.

Technology and Cyber
We take the lead on technology, architecture and standards. We design, build and run the IT infrastructure, on-premise and in the cloud. We secure the University’s IT systems. We offer a full portfolio of research IT services and provide dedicated support in academic departments.
