Assistant Campus Services Manager Role

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of Portering and Mail Room services to all of the University's premises and properties. Responsible for the management of the Rapid Response Team, delivering emergency and planned deep cleaning project/minor repair work across the University Campus
  • Responsible for setting, agreeing and maintaining the service levels required to meet customer expectations and ensuring compliance with legislation and University policy in terms of financial management, Health and Safety and Human Resources legislation
  • Maintain the Cleanquote2 and Maximiser data bases and undertake quality monitoring checks in all zones as required
  • Responsible for sub-contractors working on Campus for the Campus Services Department in respect of Cleaning Services; i.e. window cleaning, provision of agency cleaning staff and deep cleaning project works
  • Responsible, in conjunction with the Materials Management Department, for the re-tendering of services as required
  • Chair meetings, presentations to Resource groups and any hearings or appeals
  • Responsible for all operational line managers and managing substantial budgets
