Mandatory training for associate staff
Casual workers, temporary staff and other individuals with associate status are required to complete the following online training:
- Data Protection (GDPR) training package
- Information Security Awareness training package
- Introduction to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion - Module 1
- Introduction to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion - Module 2
- Unconscious Bias
- Disability Awareness
- Introduction to Fire Safety
Casual workers, temporary staff and other individuals with associate status may also be required to complete the following online training:
- Prevent duty training (for those with a pastoral student interface)
- Digital Accessibility (for those developing resources and documents)
- Autism Awareness
Where modules have a feedback / completion form / quiz at the end of the training, you must complete this section otherwise your training completion will not be recorded and you may be asked to complete the module again.
University employees
Employees (staff with contracts of employment, rather than casual workers) of the University, York Conferences, and YHEC should complete their training through the Learning Management System.
Associate staff in the Centre for Health Economics, Health Sciences and the York Health Economics Consortium
Associate staff in these teams will be prompted to complete training on data protection, records management and information security through MetaCompliance.
