Senior Staff Research Grade role

At Senior Staff Research Grade you will:

• be making an outstanding, distinguished contribution to research and scholarship, evidenced by an established national and international reputation
• have played a lead role in knowledge exchange and/or the commericalisation of research findings
• demonstrate leadership through the encouragement and supervision of research among members of staff and suitably qualified students

Evidence for this may include:

• the ability to devise and direct large-scale projects, leading large multi-disciplinary teams and/or collaborating with groups in other organisations
• high quality influential publications and/or obtaining prestigious and important grants
• public engagement and successful dissemination of research findings to the wider public
• a high level of supervision of research students
• distinguished contributions to learned societies, Research Councils or other national or international bodies
• invited presentations at prestigious international conferences or influential editorial work
