At Grade 8 you will additionally have:

• made a highly significant contribution as a researcher over a sustained period
• an excellent reputation and be able to point to evidence of high esteem in their discipline
• significant and sustained external research grant funding
• sustained, high quality outputs

You may have made:

• contributions involving team-working (especially where you have shown a catalytic or leadership role) and interdisciplinary activities both within and outside the University
• an effective contribution to teaching programmes
