Reimagining business in Yorkshire using the circular economy

The concept of the circular economy has been identified as a “tangible pathway towards a low-carbon and prosperous recovery”. Following the Coronavirus pandemic, the circular economy has the power to affect more than a businesses environmental impact. Chidubem Nwabufo outlines some of the work being done to support businesses with progressing towards a circular economy and the effects it is having on their business.
Chidubem is the Circular Economy Manager at West Yorkshire Combined Authority. She supports businesses with developing circular business models and integrating circular principles into their operations. She has previously worked supporting businesses to develop innovative solutions to some of their most pressing sustainability and waste-related challenges.
