Context

The Humber region offers huge opportunities for programmes that both protect and restore nature and support people's health and wellbeing. However, conservation and healthcare organisations can have different needs and perspectives. Working with HEY Smile Foundation and funded by Natural England we aimed to improve collaboration for nature recovery and health and wellbeing.

Aims and Objectives

  1. Set up and improve lines of communication between Natural England, social prescribers and people in nature engagement and nature recovery roles in the Humber region.
  2. Explore existing programmes for people to engage with nature.
  3. Discuss opportunities and ideas for combined nature recovery, nature connection and health and wellbeing programmes.
