A new article looks at the threat the Russia-Ukraine conflict poses, both to spiking prices and to global food security
An article by Paulina Flores Martinez (Depts of Politics/Environment & Geography) and Tony Heron (Dept of Politics & YESI Sustainable Food Co-Lead), "Russia-Ukraine conflict: spiking prices and the threat to global food security" has been published by Food Matters Live.
In the article they warn that "it seems very likely that farm bankruptcies, higher prices and food unavailability will be a common feature of 2022 and beyond".
