York-Maastricht and YESI ‘Greener Future’ Workshop

YMP and YESI are holding a two-hour workshop to introduce York and Maastricht researchers to each other, and to help stimulate ideas for new research projects under the YMP’s umbrella of ‘creating a greener future’. This will be an initial opportunity to share research interests and explore ideas, with the aim of supporting applications to the YMP’s ‘Greener Future’ seed funding call.
As the YMP develops its new strategy around all aspects of environmental sustainability, we are working to develop new collaborations between York and Maastricht. We are keen to support exciting new collaborations that draw upon expertise from across all subject areas at York and Maastricht, including interdisciplinary approaches, that contribute to the YMP’s vision of creating a greener and more sustainable future.
We welcome attendees from both institutions who have broad research interests in this area, including but not limited to:
- Future Farming and Food Systems
- Data Science for Sustainability
- Green Chemistry and Plasma
- Healthy People for a Healthy Planet
- Sustainable Humanities
- Managing Social Change for Sustainability
The YMP and YESI teams and Research Support staff from both universities will be represented at the workshop and will work to support new collaborations and applications for the EOI.
