Biography

Xiaomeng Li comes from China and has an MA in Sociology from the University of Manchester in 2022. She is a first-year PhD researcher at CWS, whose work is under the supervision of Dr. Asha Abeyasekera.

Centring on a concern with gender and agency, I seek to unravel unequal gendered unpaid work in urban Chinese families.
