The Cultivate student-led Journal in CWS celebrates International Women's Day

As part of York's International Women's Week programme, a group of the Cultivate team hosted a creative writing workshop in the city.

Taking the theme of Cultivate's forthcoming seventh issue, 'Spaces and Places', workshop participants collaborated to write a piece of flash-fiction.The collective work questioned gender and the place of 'women' and 'girls' in the world. 21 people attended the event, enjoying the experience and opportunity to explore the collective writing process.
