In Person: Consent through Creativity Workshop by Running at Walls Theatre Company

Monday 15 November 2021, 9.30AM

Speaker(s): Natasha Richards and Gemma Connell

An interactive workshop incorporating theatre, dance & other creative methods, questioning & challenging dominant narratives around consent.

About this event

Running At Walls (RAW) Theatre Company specialise in creative approaches to discussing and exploring the topic of consent. Through interactive workshops that include theatre, dance and other creative methods, we encourage participants to question and challenge dominant narratives around consent. We believe consent concerns everyone regardless of sex, gender, sexuality, age, ability or any other identifying factor. We practice empathy and listening through facilitated discussion, enabling our participants to consider real life experiences of consent in a safe environment. We hold the space for participants to make bold creative choices that question injustice in a way that is authentic to them. We are offering two workshops: an in-person workshop on Monday, Nov 15 and an online workshop on Friday, Nov 19. You can register for the online workshop separately via Eventbrite in order to receive the Zoom link.
