The theme of this social will be "care sharing": i.e. a chance to celebrate and also share all and any of the wonderful things (especially the little daily things) that have kept us going during this demanding term and year. We are asking folks to come along with a little something that brings you joy in your day-to-day self-care: this could be a piece of embroidery that you've made and that has kept you grounded and self-cared for, or a song you could play, or a go-to recipe for something delicious and comforting, or music that you love, or a poem or text that you'd like to read. You could also bring your pet and tell us funny stories about them! Anything self-caring and happy-making that you'd like to share with the community would be wonderful. If you don't have the headspace to think of anything, that is fine too--just come along! And let's share in a bit of warmth and exhale together after a hard-working and rewarding term.
Location: CWS students and staff should be able to see this event (with the Zoom link inside) on their Google Calendar timetable. If you're unable to see or access the session, please email Evangeline (boriana.alexandrova@york.ac.uk.).
