Liberal Arts
Studying Liberal Arts allows you to follow your own academic path, choosing modules across an exciting range of subjects in the arts and humanities and building on York’s vibrant history of interdisciplinary learning.
Module options through Liberal Arts consist of three main strands: core Liberal Arts modules, language and interdisciplinary modules to connect your learning with new perspectives, and open module choices for pursuing your intellectual interests.
Studying a combination of different subjects through Liberal Arts can help you become a more versatile thinker and a more engaged global citizen, and empower you to find your unique academic identity and your intellectual role in addressing social and cultural concerns.
Unfortunately, Liberal Arts cannot consider applications from postgraduate students.
