David Kato College accommodation
David Kato is one of the two new colleges on Campus East. The accommodation and social hub buildings are surrounded by landscaped gardens and a large green space for University and college events.
Featuring modern, ensuite accommodation, you’ll live in contemporary flats, nestled in the pleasant green space of Campus East, close to University facilities. Rooms surround a central hub with social spaces, a communal kitchen (in addition to the one in your flat), study spaces and quiet rooms.

Weekly college meal
All first year undergraduates living on Campus East receive one weekly college meal included in the price of their rent, redeemable at the Piazza Building on your college’s set day. For the rest of the week you’ll be self-catered.
David Kato, Economy ensuite
Each room has a three-quarter sized bed, accompanied by your own ensuite bathroom; complete with shower, toilet, vanity unit and washbasin.
Kitchens are shared between flats and as well as the usual utilities including a breakfast bar and an additional soft-seating area.
Each flat will be shared between an average of 10 students.

These slightly larger rooms have a three-quarter sized bed, accompanied by a laptop stand and your own ensuite bathroom; complete with shower, toilet, vanity unit and washbasin.
Kitchens are shared between flats and as well as the usual utilities including a breakfast bar and an additional soft-seating area.
Each flat will be shared between an average of 8 students.

David Kato, Deluxe ensuite bathroom
These larger deluxe rooms have a three-quarter sized free-standing bed accompanied by a laptop stand and your own ensuite bathroom; complete with shower, toilet, vanity unit and washbasin.
Kitchens are shared between flats and as well as the usual utilities including a breakfast bar and an additional soft-seating area. Flats include a TV with a TV license in the communal kitchen / living space.
Deluxe ensuite flats are larger and more generously furnished than other room types in David Kato College. You will also share a kitchen/living space with fewer people than the other room types.
Each flat will be shared between an average of 6 students.
