Starting up a business can be daunting. Why not start your business journey with like-minded people in the same position on our Explore Enterprise programme?
Why Explore Enterprise?
Our five week programme runs from weeks 6-10 during the Semester 1 and will teach you all the basics of starting your own business through interactive, weekly workshops; with a chance to show off all you’ve learned in a pitching competition at the end. This is a great way to build the foundations of your business knowledge, and meet other students at the start of their own business journeys.
Programme structure
- Session 1: What makes a good business idea? Explore the recipe for a good start-up and get into the team you'll work with throughout the programme.
- Session 2: Market research. How can you identify a gap in the market? How can your product fill it?
- Session 3: Business models. How can you create a good business model? What factors do you need to consider?
- Session 4: Pitching. It's not just about what you say, it's how you say it. Learn how to give strong presentations from the experts.
- Session 5: Competition time! Put all the knowledge and skills you've learned to the test in the pitching competition with your team.
