Be part of the Black Access Student Team
Each Autumn we recruit current University of York students to join our Black Access Student Team. Positions available include Student Supporters, Podcast Hosts and Student Programme Advisors.
Black Access was founded in 2020 with the aim to support sixth form and college students to discover Higher Education and make decisions about their future. We are proudly "For Black students, by Black students" and so our programme is student-led from the planning stages right through to delivery.
"Truly a unique job that you could not find anywhere else. Black Access has been an amazing experience that I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have felt a part of a project that is enacting real, visible change that I have contributed to, and that is such a rewarding feeling that few other roles provide." Black Access Student Team Member, 2022-2023
