Come to the Roses 2023 opening ceremony
After a four year break, Roses is back at York this weekend! There will be sports, fundraising, club nights and more to get involved in. Book your ticket to the opening ceremony on Friday (28 April) and cheer on the York teams to make sure that #RosesAreWhite this year!Don’t forget

You’ll now need to have proof of identity to vote in person in the local elections on Thursday 4 May. The National Union of Students has teamed up with CitizenCard to offer students FREE National Citizen Cards (normally £15) that can be used as proof of identity at polling stations as well as in other situations where photo ID is required.At-a-glance student drop-in sessions this term - check the links for drop-in times

Finding it hard to know where to begin when it comes to preparing for exams? Come to our Effective Revision Skills online workshop on Friday 5 May where we will cover revision hints and tips, exam technique, useful resources and time management. Our online revision skills guide also offers great tips. For example, do you know about the Pomodoro technique? It’s great for getting focused; short bursts of effort with a little break in between can substantially increase your productivity.
We have over 1,000 single and group study spaces across the Library and other University buildings, including atrium spaces, social areas or touch down study spaces in your department or places like the Ron Cooke Hub, Spring Lane Building and the Piazza Building. You can also book an individual meeting room to study in via our Room Bookings System. As you prepare for exams, find out more about study spaces on campus.
