Apply for the York Award to help demonstrate to employers how you have taken a proactive approach to life at university. It’s a great addition to your CV, helping you to pull together and reflect on your experiences. Even if you think you’ve not done enough, applying for the York Award can help you think about the value and meaning in the things you have done during your time at York. Finalists apply before the end of Spring Term; penultimate year students can apply in Summer Term. Find out more about the York Award. An intensive English language teacher course will run on campus Monday 20 June to Friday 22 July 2022. The Trinity Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CertTESOL) is run by the Department of Language and Linguistic Science and is open to everyone. A note on… ‘Tell us’ student survey
Thanks to all who completed the latest ‘Tell us’ student survey. While we analyse last week’s results, we found out the previous week that most of you are feeling okay or hopeful about the future, but about a quarter are feeling anxious about life after graduating. Most worries are about feeling underprepared in choosing a career path and finding a job. See how the York Award can help you present the skills and experience you have and find out how Careers and Placements can help you develop your future plans.
