Studying on campus may help your motivation over the summer and there’s lots of study space available, with over over 1,000 single-and-group study spaces across the Library and other University buildings. The Library is open from 8am until midnight so you can study at a time to suit you. Find out more about study spaces on campus.
Working on your dissertation and want to develop your writing skills? Come to a collaborative workshop on Wednesday 6 July where, through reading the writing of others, you can learn to critique your own writing and develop valuable self-editing and proofreading skills. Book your place on the ‘Write better through collaboration’ workshop. And don’t forget that The Writing Centre remains open throughout summer. Book a one-to-one Writing Centre appointment and let us help you through your dissertation journey.
Applications for the York Award are now open for postgraduates. The York Award is a formal award of the University that recognises personal and professional development within and outside your programme of study and demonstrates to employers that you have taken a proactive approach to life at university.
