Coronavirus update summary

Positive Covid cases
The number of positive Covid cases on campus has reduced dramatically. Please continue to follow the hands, face, space and fresh air guidance to reduce the spread.

Rapid results Covid testing
The on-campus rapid results testing centre remains open throughout the summer, with revised hours. You can also arrange to collect test kits to take home or collect a test kit from any college reception. 

1. Apply for your York Award

The York Award is a formal award of the University that demonstrates to employers that you have taken a proactive approach to life at university, and recognises personal and professional development within and outside your programme of study. It is a great addition to your CV, helping you to pull together and reflect on your experiences. Application deadline: Sunday 1 August. Find out more about the York Award.

2. Develop your dissertation skills

The Academic Skills Community summer workshop series covers the key milestones in your dissertation journey, from thinking about and planning your dissertation to writing the conclusions and proofreading.

3. Anne Lister College shield winning design

The new Anne Lister College is set to open its doors to students in September. Following the announcement of the College name, a student-wide competition was launched to design the College shield. Find out about the Anne Lister College winning shield design.
