The Distractibles
A support group of staff and students who have shared experiences of struggling with different aspects of University life.
The group is here to support anyone who finds it hard to focus and is plagued by distractions.
Whether you’re neurodiverse or just easily distracted, our peer-support group might be just the thing for you.
Online meetups
Our monthly meetups provide an informal, supportive and friendly space. You can share your current difficulties, either to get something off your chest or to seek ideas and advice.
First Wednesday of each month, 12.30pm to 1.30pm
If you've attended before, you can use the same Zoom link.
Drop-in space
We also have a regular in-person drop in to supplement our monthly online meetups.
Mondays, 12 noon to 1.30pm, LFA/144
Bring lunch or just hang out. Chat with people or just sit and stare.
Resources
We’ve created a toolkit of the tips, tricks and strategies that we use to help us manage and overcome our struggles with focus, organisation and motivation.
You can also post in our Distractibles Discord channel or consult the Distractibles Tips, Tricks and Strategies collaborative document.
