Student Visa Re-enrolment
All students sponsored on a Student Visa must re-enrol each semester during the academic year.
This process forms part of the Student Visa terms and conditions (PDF , 175kb), and it is important that you complete it when you are asked to do so. Re-enrolment allows us to check that the information on your student record is up-to-date and provides evidence that you are in York engaging with your studies.
You will receive an email inviting you to complete the task, and you will need to be on campus and use a University computer (such as in the Library) to access this process in eVision.
If you are on an authorised change of study location for the duration of the task dates please email student-visa@york.ac.uk so we can assist.
It is not required that you complete re-enrolment if you are on an authorised absence, or are a Postgraduate Research student on annual leave, for the entire duration of the re-enrolment period. If your absence only covers part of the re-enrolment period it is expected that you complete it.
