Programme specifications for departments are published annually during the Autumn Term. Please contact your department for access to your programme specification if it is not available below.
We are in the process of digitizing these programme specifications, which are currently available only in pdf versions. If you require an alternate format, please contact academic-quality-admin@york.ac.uk.

We will endeavour to deliver your course as described in the relevant Programme Design Document (previously referred to as Programme Specification) for your year of entry. However, sometimes we may make changes as set out below.
Optional modules are reviewed each year and may be changed to reflect the expertise of our staff, current trends in research or developments in the discipline, and as a result of student feedback. If there are insufficient numbers of students interested in an optional module, this may not be offered.
We will only make significant changes to your programme (for example the withdrawal of core modules, changing the balance of core and optional modules, major alterations to the assessment arrangements for the programme) where we consider these changes will be of benefit to students (for example implementing enhancements that have been suggested in student feedback) or for reasons outside of our control (for example because of unforeseen staff changes or new requirements from an accrediting body). We will let you know about any such major changes as soon as reasonably possible and, where possible, before the relevant academic year.
