Module aims

To provide the student with the full experience of an independent project from research, design specification, development, production, analysis and refinement to report writing and public presentation.

Module learning outcomes

  • Define project specifications with clear technical and/or creative objectives.
  • Develop and maintain suitable timescales for project completion with an understanding of optimizing work flow and project management.
  • Demonstrate an understanding for and application of audio and video postproduction processes and technologies.
  • Work independently as well as liaise with colleagues as required to fulfil project requirements
  • Develop and enhance facility with hardware and/or software systems needed for project creation.
  • Further develop report writing, reflective critical analysis and skills in a formal context as part of the final assessment process.
