Module aims

The degree in social work is the standard UK qualification for those seeking to work as social workers. It was introduced in England in 2003 and 2004, replacing the Diploma in Social Work, and has recently undergone significant reforms to strengthen professional practice standards and requirements

Module learning outcomes

During the first placement students will acquire professional capabilities across 9 domains at the level appropriate to the End of First Placement. Details are at:
