The module explores the theories and practical approaches to strategic management and change in the public and private sectors in the context of a globalised economy. It focuses on how organisations develop strategy and manage change, and on the skills and techniques that managers need for effective strategy formulation, implementation and evaluation. From undertaking the module, learners will develop their critical thinking, reading and writing skills, understand how to interpret debates in academic literature, and how to develop their analytical and argumentative styles for assignments.
