Module aims
This module is an introductory undergraduate level course in German grammar.
Module learning outcomes
After satisfactorily completing the module you should be able to show:
• Increased understanding of the structures of the German language.
• The ability to analyse grammatical aspects and understand and produce them in context.
• An increased awareness of their use in spoken and written German.

Feedback on formative work
- Oral commentary and dialogue within class on grammar exercises. Given immediately both to individuals and to group.
- Model answers may be given for class exercises/ past exam papers, with class discussion of difficulties.

- Written feedback to be provided within 20 working days.
