Walmgate Stray bridge closure

On Thursday 12 September, the bridge on Walmgate Stray, close to Heslington Lane and the York Sport Centre will be temporarily closed whilst maintenance work is being carried out.

If you usually cross the stray during the week, please bear in mind that you will be unable to pass the bridge on this day and may need to take an alternative route.

Please note that the maintenance work requires a dry day, meaning the date could change at short notice.
