Respecting others on public transport

Posted on 20 November 2024

We all share a responsibility to make our buses accessible and respectful for everyone. Whether you're a staff member or a student, small actions can make a big difference.

Key reminders

  • Give up priority seats: These seats are clearly marked and meant for elderly passengers, disabled individuals, or those who are pregnant. If you’re in one of these seats and someone needs it, please give it up.

  • Let others board first: At bus stops, allow people with mobility challenges, pushchairs, or other needs to board before you.

  • Be considerate: Simple acts of courtesy - like offering help or being patient - can create a more respectful and inclusive environment.

By following these guidelines, we help build a community where everyone feels supported. Thank you for doing your bit to make public transport a better experience for all.
