Field Lane temporary road closure

The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 4 September and will take place between 9.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
All on-street parking in the working area and within close proximity to the works will be suspended at these times, although any specific access requirements may be arranged by speaking to the site traffic management operatives. Pedestrian routes will be maintained, where possible, to allow access to any buildings.
Delays are expected, so please plan ahead when making any journeys in the area during the works. Please use alternate routes where possible.
Please note that there will be no buses between main campus and Heslington East when Field Lane is closed. The only access between campuses will be by walking or cycling.
First York bus services 66 and 67 will take different routes during the works to avoid the construction areas. Please see below for further information.
Service 66
During these works, bus service 66 will terminate at Heslington Hall and will not serve the following stops: Field Lane, Campus East.
Service 67
During these works, bus service 67 will take its normal route to Melrosegate, then Hull Road, Field Lane and will not serve the following stops: Green Dykes, University Road, Heslington Hall, Field Lane.
