EXEC, the Centre for Experimental Economics at York, is seeking participants for its economics experiments. Participants are paid and experiments are usually simple decision tasks performed at a computer.
EXEC carries out a variety of experiments, investigating theories of individual behaviour, of behaviour in games, and behaviour in markets. Experimental economics is a respected and well-established methodology, used by many thousands of economists throughout the world. In essence, it involves testing economic theories using data generated from laboratory experiments - that's where you come in.
If you are interested, please register online via hroot and you will be informed when experiments are taking place.
