Applications are now open for the Association of Commonwealth Universities’ (ACU) Summer School 2023, which will be hosted by Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
Taking place from 2 – 10 July 2023, the Summer School is a fascinating opportunity for interested students to learn about the political, social and economic forces that shaped 20th Century South African politics, including apartheid, with their peers from across other ACU Universities.
Over the course of the week, students will:
The Summer School is open to postgraduate (masters’ and PhD) students, and final-year undergraduate students. Student places are fully-funded and will be selected as part of a competitive process.

As part of your online application, you will be required to submit a detailed academic reference from a lecturer or supervisor at your current university of study who is familiar with your recent academic work, and answer several questions.
