Yorkshire Marathon: car park and road closures this weekend

The Yorkshire Marathon will be on campus between Thursday 13 and Monday 17 October 2022.
Car park closures
- Campus Central car park will be closed from 7pm on Thursday 13 October until 1pm on Monday 17 October
- Campus South car park will be closed from 7pm on Thursday 13 October until 7am Monday 17 October
- Campus North and Campus West car parks will be closed from 7pm on Friday 14 October until 7am Monday 17 October

If you usually park on campus
Make sure to check if your usual car park will be closed. You'll need to move your vehicle before the car park closes in order to avoid getting stuck.
Blue badge holders
Students that are blue badge holders are still permitted to park in Campus West car park - just make sure your blue badge is displayed.

Road closures
University Road will be closed between 10am on Saturday 16 October and midnight on Sunday 17 October.
Bus service changes
Bus diversions will be in place from 10am on Saturday until 9pm on Sunday.
Service 66
Buses will divert via Fulford Road, Broadway and Heslington Lane. On Sunday morning, as the runners pass, there will be further diversions in York city centre. Check the First Bus website for full details.
Service 67
From 10am on Saturday, services will divert via the full length of Hull Road then continue to Heslington Hall, looping around the roundabout to return to Heslington East and returning via Hull Road. The 67 service will not operate on Sunday 16 October.
Clubbers' Bus
This will operate via Fulford Road, Broadway, Heslington Lane.
