Welcome international students this autumn

The International Student Support team is now recruiting enthusiastic, sociable and highly self-motivated students (both home and international) to become Welcome Team members assisting with Welcome Fortnight.
The role will focus on meeting and greeting new students at Manchester Airport. It may also include activities such as campus and city tours, assisting with social activities, and escorting students to collect their visas.
Work will take place in September 2022.

Welcome Team members must complete mandatory online VLE training modules and a paid online Zoom session before commencing their role.
Welcome Team members will receive the following salary:
- £9.96 per hour for a Welcome Team member
- £10.17 per hour if selected as a Team Leader
These rates may change depending on the pay award in August.
