Take uni home with you

You may be leaving York soon for the vacation but you can still access many services whilst you’re away from campus.
- Find out what you can access online using the Library’s E-resources guide - the Library buys the e-book version of all news books, if available
- Use other university libraries over the holiday with the SCONUL scheme
- Log on as though on a managed PC and access filestore and software using the Virtual Desktop Service (VDS)
- Access the University network when you are off campus through the Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Help is available
Remember - you can still contact the Library & IT Help Desk for help when off campus. Our staff can connect to your machine remotely using a tool called Bomgar.
