Posted on 25 November 2018

You may be leaving campus for the holiday, but you'll still be able to access lots of our services wherever you are.

Even if you've decided not to take a big pile of books home with you, you'll still be able to keep up with your reading list as the Library's e-resources are available both on and off campus - find them at:

If you find yourself craving a silent study space, or a physical book, the SCONUL scheme lets you access facilities at other university libraries, and you'll be able to connect to eduroam there too, using your University username and password:

  • Using other libraries
  • Using eduroam

Got a Library question? Wherever you are, you can still ask it - our Library chat service runs 24/7:

  • Library chat

You probably already know that Google Apps lets you access your email, Google Drive etc anywhere, on any device, but there are other options for remote working too.

You can connect to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access your filestore and use restricted web apps at home, or you can use the Virtual Desktop Service (VDS) to log onto your Uni desktop at home, and access your filestore and software.
