Being a Course Rep can be challenging, but once you start to make changes, you realise just how much is possible and quickly become committed to improving the student experience. It is a very rewarding role.

Course Reps help to improve the academic experience for students.
By dealing with student queries, Course Reps become specialists in course-based issues and by gathering student feedback they can help identify and tackle problems as they arise.
Alongside improving the learning experience for students, you will also develop valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, time management, as well as developing your self-confidence.
The role requires on average around five hours per week during term time.
