With evenings drawing in and the clocks turning back at the end of October, it's important to be seen if you're cycling on the roads.
The Highway Code states that, at night, cyclists must have white front and red rear lights. Bikes must also be fitted with a red rear reflector and amber pedal reflectors.
Stay safe and be seen - claim a free high-visibility vest or a ‘slap wrap’ arm reflector by emailing transport-team@york.ac.uk.
Your Shop in Market Square offers a range of heavily discounted cycle products, including up to 60% off RRP on bike lights.
